The Slovak commemorative silver €20 coin from 2025 is dedicated to the Danube Floodplains Protected Landscape Area, one of Slovakia’s most valuable natural areas. The region is known for its unique aquatic landscape, floodplain forests and wealth of animal and plant species. The coin’s motif recalls the importance of protecting biodiversity and preserving this exceptionally rare ecosystem for future generations.
