The Vatican commemorative €2 coin from 2019 was issued to mark the 90th anniversary of the foundation of Vatican City State, established by the signing of the Lateran Treaties in 1929. The coin recalls the historic importance of the sovereignty of the world’s smallest state and its role internationally. The issue was produced in BU quality and packaged in an official commemorative card.
