The 2007 Slovenia €2 coin “50th Anniversary of the Treaty of Rome” is issued in a special “Cube” version in an acrylic block. The Treaty of Rome of 25 March 1957 established the European Economic Community and Euratom and opened the way to today’s European Union. The common euro-area issue of 2007 commemorates the beginning of modern European integration.
