The 20th anniversary of Slovakia's accession to the OECD represents the country's contribution to international economic development andcooperation. OECD membership enabled Slovakia to participate actively in discussions on economic policies, share best practices and cooperate with other member countries. The anniversary celebrations recognise the effort and progress Slovakia has made since joining this prestigious organisation and recall the importance of international cooperation to the country's economic and social development.
