The Istropolitana proof €2 coin is among the most sought-after Slovak €2 coins, primarily because of its low mintage. Together with the 2016 Presidency €2 coin and the 2013 Constantine and Methodius proof coin in a wooden case, it forms a trio of the most valuable Slovak coins, which are regarded as investments and whose prices have risen sharply in recent years.
