The 2022 Malta €2 coin “Maltese Prehistoric Sites – Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum” is issued in BU quality and supplied in an official card (coincard). The Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum is a unique underground sanctuary dating from 3600–2500 BC and the only prehistoric underground temple inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
