The 2016 Malta €2 coin “Solidarity Through Love” is supplied in an official card. It was created as part of the “From Children in Solidarity” series, in which Maltese schoolchildren contributed to the design; it highlights the values of solidarity, belonging and voluntary assistance. The issue points to the importance of civic responsibility and education in solidarity.
