In 2019, Ireland issued an official proof set containing the complete annual series of euro coins and the commemorative €2 coin “100 Years of the Irish Parliament – Dáil Éireann”. The commemorative coin appeared in proof quality only in this set and was not issued separately. The set had a historically low mintage of 1,000 pieces and was supplied in an original case with a certificate of authenticity.
