In 2015, Ireland issued an official proof set of euro coins containing the complete annual series and the commemorative “European Flag” €2 coin. The commemorative coin in proof quality was available exclusively in this set and was not issued separately. The set had a historically low mintage of only 1,000 pieces and was supplied in representative packaging with a certificate of authenticity.
