In 2007, the Royal Dutch Mint prepared a special proof-quality set containing the complete series from 1 cent to €2. The package also includes the commemorative €2 coin issued for the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, struck in the highest proof quality.
This annual set is unique because it is the only one to contain the “Treaty of Rome” commemorative €2 coin in proof finish, giving it a special place among official euro coins. The total mintage was limited to only 7,400 pieces, with both the coin and the entire set presented in elegant original packaging with a certificate.
