For 35 years, the Erasmus programme has enabled millions of students to discover Europe through education and cultural exchange. It created strong links among universities and supported the idea of a common European area based on cooperation and knowledge. In 2022, Greece issued a commemorative €2 coin recalling the importance of the programme for future generations.
The coin is produced in BU quality and housed in an official commemorative card, with an exceptionally low mintage of only 3,000 pieces.
