Yle (Yleisradio) is Finland’s public service broadcasting company, founded in 1926, and is one of the country’s most important media institutions. The issue commemorates the centenary of radio and television broadcasting in Finland and its role in shaping modern society.
It is a popular issue of the Helsinki Mint, and the coins will not enter regular circulation. The total mintage of rolls is only 3,000 pieces.
