The Slovakia €10 Silver Collector Coin 2024 “100th Anniversary of the Birth of Jozef Kroner” is dedicated to one of the most important figures of Slovak theatre and cinema in the 20th century. Jozef Kroner became famous for numerous theatre, film, television and radio roles, with Tóno Brtko in The Shop on Main Street being among his best-known performances.
The obverse features a film strip with the character Tóno Brtko together with symbols of theatre, while the reverse depicts a portrait of Jozef Kroner, his signature and a small fish referring to his passion for fishing. The coin was struck in Proof quality from silver with a fineness of 900/1000.
