10 euro Slovakia 2018 - Establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic (Proof)

The Slovak €10 Silver Collector Coin 2018 “100th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic” commemorates the proclamation of the common state of Czechs and Slovaks on 28 October 1918. The establishment of Czechoslovakia created new opportunities for the political, cultural and national development of the Slovak people and became one of the most important milestones in modern Slovak history.

The coin features the coat of arms of the Czechoslovak Republic, a map of the common state and the emblem used by the Czechoslovak Legions during the First World War. The design is complemented by linden branches and the date 28 October 1918. The artistic design was created by sculptor Zbyněk Fojtů.
